Don’t Miss The Corning Jazz and Harvest Festival


If you do not yet have plans for this weekend, we recommend that you visit downtown Corning on Friday and Saturday for the Jazz and Harvest Festival.

On Friday, September 10th from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm select shops, restaurants, bars and the Centerway Square stage will host over thirty jazz and blues bands.

Scheduled to perform Friday night on the Centerway Square stage:

* 4:45 pm to 5:00 pm: Studio Stu

* 5:00 pm to 6:15 pm: The Ira Heyward Jr. Band

* 6:30 pm to 7:45 pm: Hard Logic

* 8:00 pm to 9:15 pm: Jon Seiger & the All-Stars

On Saturday, September 11th visit the Riverfront Centennial Park from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm for Harvest Day. You will find family and children’s activities such as karaoke, a rock climbing wall and face painting. Centerway Square will host a corn on the cob-eating contest at noon and an ugliest flannel shirt contest at 12:30 pm. There will also be line and square dancing in the Square.

Don’t forget to check out the local farmer’s market while you are there.
